In ancient Roman times, the peacock feather represented eternal life and can be seen throughout Italy in frescoes, mosaics and ceramics. This collar was inspired by the majolica seen in the Umbrian section of Italy. Using brick stitch, we create individual peacock feathers to be joined together and ôlayeredö to form a magnificent collar.
