Instructor: Katrina Walker Sewing with silk can be one of the most rewarding experiences for sewing enthusiast. It can be very intimidating if you have not worked with the "queen of fiber" before. In this hand-on class you will learn the tricks and techniques for sewing with all types of silk from slippery chiffons to lustrous duppioni. Students will create a sample notebook of the techniques, whether you are using it for quilting, garments or home décor. Kit cost and contents $20.00 kit includes all silk fabrics, silk threads and sample notebook pages needed for the class. Kit cost not included in class fee.
