Hearts &
Hands: Providing Warmth and Comfort for Local Hospitals and Shelters
We've been collecting quilts for
Project Linus and they are always appreciated. Whenever you feel you can
spend some time creating a small quilt to donate to Project Linus, keep
us in mind. It is so satisfying to help Project Linus get much
needed warmth and comfort to others in need at local hospitals and
shelters, so please keep those quilts coming and thank you for
your support in helping us help others in need. The King and
Pierce County chapter has collected more than 12,000 blankets in the
last 4 years. If you're looking for
opportunities to sew for Linus in the company of friends, our free Open
Classes are a perfect opportunity for you. For more information about Project Linus,
visit the Project Linus website. By the way, if you can't stop in the shop, you may purchase a
Linus Kit online to donate to our volunteer sewers.
Other opportunities to help with a gift of warmth for those in need are
available. Click to read about
